Simply Ask is the campaign from the RSPCA’s Freedom Food. It aims to improve farm animal welfare through encouraging us all to take a simpleaction – asking.
Treat well - eat well… Simply Ask is the campaign from Freedom Food – the farm assurance and food labelling scheme established by the RSPCA over 15 years ago - which aims to improve farm animal welfare by encouraging us all to take a simple action – asking.
Asking about the welfare credentials of food not only helps us make an informed choice, but encourages restaurants, pubs and cafes to use higher-welfare produce, particularly Freedom Food approved. If we treat well, we can eat well.
Research reveals that 40% of us are concerned about the welfare of farmed animals so there’s no doubt that it’s time for change.
You’ll find plenty of ways to get involved on this Simply Ask website, from the handy higher-welfare Restaurant Finder to help you find those places that choose higher-welfare, right through to recipes you can try at home. So, will you Simply Ask?
